Job Description
The Business Applications Specialist is responsible for driving growth and adoption of Microsoft Business Applications, including Dynamics 365 and Power Platform, across public and private sector industries. The Business Applications Specialist will be instrumental in shaping future projects and client engagements by identifying new opportunities and demonstrating the value of Microsoft Business Apps and delivering and supporting the alignment of Stallions Solutions Cloud and AI consultancy and managed services practices.
This is achieved through delivering technical pre-sales engagements to customers, developing and maintaining a portfolio of effective solutions and services in conjunction with technical consultants and managed service delivery teams, as well as building and nurturing key relationships across all levels of Microsoft.
As a subject matter expert and workload lead the Business Applications Specialist will contribute to and lead thought leadership, both internally and externally for Dynamics 365, as well as supporting the Marketing Team with content and internal/external events that are relevant to where the respective technologies can support organizations to achieve their outcomes.

Key responsibilities
- Demonstrate in depth knowledge of Microsoft’s Dynamics 365 stack and understand use case and business challenges that can be addressed
- Discover and develop new business opportunities for Dynamics 365 within existing clients and build a portfolio of new customers.
- Create compelling sales content and collaborate with sales and marketing teams to highlight our capabilities in Microsoft Business Apps and the business value they bring
- Evangelism & Thought Leadership: Act as an advocate for Microsoft Business Applications, promoting their benefits and capabilities through various channels such as webinars, presenting at conferences, blogs, and social media. Inspire and educate sales teams, customers and internal overlay teams about the latest trends and innovations in Microsoft Business Apps.
- Demonstrations and POCs: Prepare and deliver demos and proof of concepts (POCs) to both technical and non-technical stakeholders, including business executives
- Assist in estimation and planning for bid responses.
- Deliver active participation across Microsoft Partner activities and programs including Microsoft funding and incentive supported engagements
- Act as a key overlay for Stallions’s Sales Team to lead pre-sales activities related to Dynamics 365 to include requirements gathering, scoping and delivering internal/external facing demos for Stallions, strategic partners, and the customer.
- Demonstrate and support effective deal management across all stages of the sales cycle, championing the use of CRM to enhance visibility and reporting.
- Deliver informative sales enablement activities both internally and externally to ensure a clear understanding of Stallions’s cloud endpoint capabilities and the benefits it delivers to customers.
- Perform your tasks in support of data and information security.

Qualifications and experience
- Certification in Microsoft Fundamentals level or above
- 3+ Years in Microsoft focused technical pre-sale’s role
